Job summary

Restek in Bellefonte, PA seeks a Scientist for the Reference Standards team to synthesize, purify, and develop materials used as reference standards in laboratories worldwide.

The role requires hands-on chemistry experience, the ability to manage moderately complex tasks with minimal direction, and meticulous documentation. You will collaborate with Operations and cross-functional teams across Restek and contribute from day one.

Qualifications

• Hands-on laboratory experience in synthesis and purification.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize and purify materials using SOPs and develop basic purification procedures.
• Develop and manufacture materials meeting quality standards and production demand.
• Design and run process improvement experiments and analyze data.
