Pipestone Careers is seeking a Site Manager for a large swine facility in Colorado. You will lead production, safety, and staff to meet protocols and budgets, with an emphasis on training and reporting.

The role requires 4+ years of livestock experience and 2 years of supervisory work, with swine experience preferred. You will oversee HR-related tasks, inventory, and vendor coordination while guiding team performance and shareholder communications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; agricultural background preferred.
• 4+ years livestock experience and 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year swine experience and 1 year supervisory with agricultural education preferred.
• Strong communication, training, and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train employees to follow production protocols.
• Policing routines to monitor production and efficiencies.
• Ensure inventory management of swine, semen, and supplies.
• Monitor feed inventory and ordering when necessary.
• Conduct goal setting and monitor performance to maximize production.
• Analyze financial reporting to meet budgets and perform SOAP analyses when applicable.
• Recruit, interview, and retain farm employees with HR support.
• Maintain safety, bio-security, and animal welfare standards.
• Complete or supervise reporting via website, fax, emails, etc.
• Coordinate with maintenance and facility upkeep.
