Job summary

Pipestone is seeking a Swine Research Barn Manager & Project Lead to oversee research trials and daily animal care at our onsite facility. You will lead from concept to completion, ensuring animal welfare, data integrity, and biosecurity while coordinating protocols and sample collection.

The role requires an Animal Science degree (or related field) and experience with sow or wean-to-finish operations, plus strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Animal science degree preferred (or related field).
• Experience with sow or wean-to-finish operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Work with pigs ranging from piglets to market animals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute swine research trials.
• Manage daily barn operations and animal care.
• Collect, analyze, and oversee research data.
