Job summary

Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT is seeking a Cook 4 for Momosan Sushi. This role prepares and cooks food, including sushi, and maintains kitchen areas during busy service.

The position requires 3+ years in a full-service or production kitchen, ServSafe certification within 6 months, and the ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy loads. An associate degree or culinary certificate is preferred; weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• An Associate’s Degree or Vocational Certification in Culinary Arts preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a full service or production kitchen required.
• Must complete ServSafe Certification within 6 months of being hired.
• Must be able to stand and work manned stations in front of guests for long periods.
• Ability to lift 35lbs repeatedly and push carts up to 100lbs.
• Weekend, holiday and peak period work is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food items for restaurants and in-room dining.
• Prepares sushi, cleans, stocks and maintains kitchen areas.
• Assists with venue management, including expediting and inventory.
• Communicates with BOH/FOH staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
