Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hy-Vee food safety training and Food Safety Certification required.
• 1–3 years of similar or related experience preferred.
• Prior meal preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh sushi for customers packaged and made-to-order, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and learning their names.
• Take orders at counter/phone; communicate with customers about food preparation.
• Oversee sushi program operations, scheduling, and training of the Sushi Clerk.
• Maintain sanitation and uphold Hy-Vee dress code and policies.
• Assist in merchandising and product presentation of sushi items.
