Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Surveyor for the SPL5 project, supporting the Infrastructure GBU. The role involves field and office duties, using design drawings and models to determine locations, and coordinating with Field Engineering and Superintendents.

You will contribute to safety and quality programs, maintain survey control, and produce CAD drawings, DTMs, and volumes. Long-term assignment in Sabine Pass, LA, with preconstruction in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Technical degree with 2–5 years in heavy construction/industrial surveying, or 6–9 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience on multiple work fronts.
• Experience as Pilot of UAV (Drones).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Surveyor with oversight of survey operations and provide technical direction to the survey team.
• Perform duties of Lead Surveyor in their absence.
• Support safety, quality, and environmental programs within the survey team.
• Layout construction work accurately and record field data per specifications.
• Provide survey support to Field Engineering and Field Supervision.
• Establish and maintain the project's survey control network.
• Prepare survey CAD drawings, DTMs and volume computations.
• Develop and manage survey data and documentation.
