Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Survey Lead to drive traditional and advanced 3D mapping projects.

You will manage survey teams, oversee fieldwork, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and ISO-compliant processes across DOT, ALTA, boundary, and telecom surveys. With 5+ years in surveying and a strong background in CADD and data processing, you will mentor staff, coordinate with disciplines, and deliver high-quality outputs within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in survey mapping, 3D modeling, and field data acquisition.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Proficiency in CADD software and survey tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead traditional surveys including field data acquisition and survey map creation (DOT, ALTA, boundary, topo, subdivisions).
• Oversee 3D mapping projects using LiDAR, photogrammetry, and 3D modelling techniques.
• Coordinate across disciplines to integrate survey data into project plans.
• Perform/draft using CADD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specs.
• Mentor staff and deliver timely performance appraisals.
