GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality programs across equipment and components from qualification to shipment release.

You will review supplier painting processes and documentation and support supplier development within HRSG and BOP/HRSG scopes. The role requires a mechanical/electrical/metallurgy engineering degree, strong English communication, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally to ensure compliance with technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgy Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in power, oil & gas, or heavy manufacturing.
• Proven influencer able to communicate complex messages and work without direct supervision.
• Ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and ensure implementation of quality control per international codes/standards.
• Strong oral and written English communication; proficient with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor supplier quality for assigned equipment and components from qualification to final inspections before shipment release.
• Execute supplier evaluation including quality audits, tender analysis, and onboarding with procurement, engineering, and project quality teams.
• Prepare and approve project quality documents (QCP, ITPL, Product Testing procedures).
• Perform and organize FAT, PSI, packaging inspections, and support 2nd party inspection organizations.
• Develop and execute surveillance audits and SRG audits to ensure robust quality systems at suppliers.
• Manage SDR, NCR, and RCA; lead resolution of cross-functional quality issues.
• Review and approve supplier End of Manufacturing Reports and final releases for shipment.
• Review and approve supplier painting processes and support capability development in HRSG and BOP/HRSG scope.
