Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality improvements for aerospace forgings, mill melting, and conversion processes. You will implement quality plans, select suppliers through qualification, and own supplier results with audits and improvement plans.

You will apply deep knowledge of melting, conversion, or forgings to drive supplier performance, quality system adherence, and cross-functional collaboration with other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing & Supplier Quality Engineering experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of Sourcing & Supplier Quality Engineering experience
• Experience leading supplier audits and implementing quality plans (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality improvements and drive corrective actions
• Own supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Qualify suppliers through formal qualification processes and monitor performance
