Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for aerospace forgings, including closed die and rings. You will drive supplier quality plans, qualify suppliers, own first article inspection results, and ensure compliance with GE specifications through audits and corrective actions.

You will lead cross-functional quality improvements, use supplier scorecards, and apply problem-solving methods such as root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or a high school diploma with 4+ years in manufacturing or supplier quality.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or supplier quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier development from qualification to ongoing improvements.
• Conduct supplier audits and system assessments for quality readiness.
• Develop expertise and apply policy/strategy within the discipline.
