Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer for Aerospace Forgings, Closed Die, and Rings. You will drive supplier quality by implementing quality plans, qualifying suppliers, owning First Article Inspection results, and leading corrective actions and audits with cross-functional teams.

You will use supplier scorecards to track performance and ensure compliance with Source substantiation plans. Knowledge of forging processes, including isothermal forging, is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing or a related field with a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing or supplier quality
• Travel 20-30% is required

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier development from qualification to ongoing improvement to meet quality standards
• Conduct supplier audits and system assessments for quality readiness and process controls
• Develop expertise to execute policy/strategy within the discipline
• Impact projects and processes with professional judgment and guidance where needed
