Job summary

SPCC is seeking a Supervisor of Supervised Visitation Services to lead a team of Visitation Specialists serving children and families involved in complex custody and welfare matters. The role emphasizes reflective supervision, coaching, and trauma-informed leadership to ensure high-quality services and child safety.

Responsibilities include staff development, performance management, and collaboration with courts and partners to promote positive outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum supervisory experience in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide reflective, administrative, and operational supervision to Visitation Specialists, supporting professional development, service quality, and adherence to trauma-informed practices.
• Lead team meetings, training, coaching, and performance management to ensure program standards.
• Oversee staffing, caseloads, documentation review, data management, and timecard approvals.
• Collaborate with courts, partners, funders, and internal stakeholders to optimize service delivery and outcomes.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, supervision, and staff development in a diverse, inclusive environment.
• Monitor program performance through file reviews, data reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership in high-conflict or crisis situations in absence of the Program Manager.
