Diamond Peak Recruiting seeks an experienced lead field superintendent to oversee a $70 million student union/services expansion in Long Beach, CA. The project includes new construction, structural steel, metal pan decking, and precast facades.

You will take over an active site and drive safety, quality, and schedule execution. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in construction with proven lead superintendent responsibility, extensive DSA experience, and a track record on public education

Scope includes new construction and expansion with structural steel, metal pan decking, and precast panel facades. This person will take over an active project and provide strong leadership through completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations, subcontractors, sequencing, and schedule execution.
• Coordinate with project management, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain safety, quality, and DSA-related field documentation.
• Resolve issues professionally and maintain composure under pressure.

Candidate Requirements

• Ideally 15+ years of construction experience with proven lead superintendent responsibility.
• Substantial DSA experience throughout their career.
• Strong public education project background; LAUSD experience highly desirable.
• Experience managing comparable institutional construction.
• Reliable, hardworking leader with strong character and professionalism.
• Comfortable commuting to Long Beach for the required schedule.
