Job summary

Henderson Scott US is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up luxury multifamily developments throughout New Jersey. The role requires managing complex projects from mobilization through turnover, coordinating multiple subcontractors, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or residential construction.
• Experience overseeing ground-up multifamily residential projects.
• Experience delivering mid-rise and/or high-rise developments is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on ground-up luxury multifamily construction projects.
• Oversee site mobilization, foundations, structure through interior finishes and turnover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain schedules and quality.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and deadlines.
• Collaborate with PMs, ownership, architects, and engineers to resolve field issues.
• Enforce site safety standards, QC procedures, and company policies.
• Review drawings and specs to identify conflicts and address issues.
• Conduct site meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.
• Maintain daily reports, track manpower, and coordinate logistics.
• Ensure workmanship, safety, and project execution meet high standards.
