Job summary

The Axel Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Superintendent for their Rahway, NJ office to oversee field operations on high-rise multifamily projects across Hudson and Bergen Counties. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, especially concrete superstructures of 15+ stories. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a salary between $150k to $175k along with medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing large-scale ground-up construction projects, high-rise or mixed-use strongly preferred.
• Experience with concrete superstructure on projects 15+ stories.
• Ability to build respectful, collaborative, and high-performing teams.

They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their Rahway, NJ office and lead field operations on high‑rise multifamily projects throughout Hudson and Bergen Counties. • Oversee daily site operations including safety protocols, scheduling, and quality control
• Coordinate and inspect subcontractors and trade partners to ensure work aligns with project specifications

• Lead the development and execution of look‑ahead schedules and proactive planning
• Study drawings thoroughly and collaborate with design teams and trade partners
• Create and execute an effective flight plan for successful project completion
• Solve field‑related issues efficiently and maintain a high‑performance jobsite
• Manage concrete superstructure operations on high‑rise developments 15+ stories
• 5+ years managing large‑scale ground‑up construction projects, high‑rise or mixed‑use strongly preferred
