Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to lead ground-up multifamily projects across Eastern North Carolina. The role requires ownership from mobilization through completion and effective leadership of field teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of multifamily supervisory experience, strong scheduling and coordination skills, and the ability to read and interpret plans. Base locations include Greenville, Fayetteville, or New Bern, NC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial or multifamily construction.
• Ground-up wood-frame multifamily experience preferred.
• Experience with garden-style apartment projects highly preferred.
• Ability to run projects independently from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor coordination and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations on ground-up multifamily projects.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work stays on track.
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries and site logistics.
• Monitor quality, safety and compliance throughout construction.
• Conduct regular site meetings and communicate progress with the project team.
• Review plans, specifications and scopes of work.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite.
• Work closely with Project Managers and ownership to deliver projects successfully.
