Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a seasoned Commercial Construction Superintendent for Corporate Interiors in Santa Clara. You will lead day-to-day field operations on $4M–$30M interior projects, owning schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality in occupied environments.

The role requires 5+ years in corporate interior construction, strong leadership, and expert knowledge of sequencing and MEP coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction field experience in corporate interiors or tenant improvements.
• Experience leading interior construction projects in the $4M–$30M range.
• Experience as a Superintendent or senior Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong understanding of interior construction sequencing, MEP coordination, and high-end finishes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations for corporate interior projects $4M–$30M.
• Own the project schedule and drive subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Maintain a safe, organized jobsite per HITT standards.
• Partner with the Project Manager to resolve field issues.
• Manage short-term planning, sequencing, and manpower for momentum.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and set expectations for safety, quality, and schedule.
• Coordinate architectural, MEP, technology, and specialty systems to minimize conflicts.
• Maintain high-quality finishes and client-facing spaces.
• Operate in occupied environments with minimal disruption to clients.
• Conduct quality control inspections and closeout punch lists.
• Maintain daily reports and project records.
