Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial TI projects in Los Angeles. You will own the schedule, coordinate trades, maintain safety, and uphold quality while solving on-site challenges.

As frontline on the jobsite, you will mentor assistants, manage RFIs and submittals, and coordinate inspections with clients and architects. A general contractor background and 5+ years of experience are preferred for this permanent, on-site role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent-level field leadership in commercial construction.
• General contractor background required.
• Experience in commercial interiors/tenant improvements preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and CAL-OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site operations across commercial interiors and TI projects, from mobilization to closeout.
• Build and manage master and Look-Ahead Schedules, keeping milestones on track.
• Direct Subcontractor Coordination, including trade sequencing, manpower and weekly field meetings.
• Oversee MEP Coordination and coordinate finish trades in active, fast-paced environments.
• Enforce Jobsite Safety programs and maintain CAL-OSHA compliance.
• Own Quality Control by walking the work daily against drawings and specs.
• Manage RFIs, Submittals and field documentation in Procore and Bluebeam.
• Maintain accurate Daily Logs of labor, progress, deliveries, inspections and issues.
• Coordinate and pass City Inspections.
• Track T&M and support Change Orders alongside the Project Manager.
• Communicate on-site with clients, architects and property teams.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field crews.
• Drive Punch List completion, turnover and Project Closeout.
