Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Interiors Superintendent in Los Angeles to lead complex, fast-paced interior projects for a respected general contractor. The role requires 6+ years of field leadership in commercial construction, with a strong background in Class A TI environments and occupied spaces.

You will represent the company onsite, manage subcontractors, coordinate with clients, and ensure safety and quality from mobilization to closeout.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Superintendent or equivalent field leadership experience.
• Experience with Class A commercial TI, creative office, high-rise, healthcare/medical, tech space, or similar interior projects.
• Ability to independently manage projects and field operations.
• Strong understanding of building codes, OSHA requirements, and occupied construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineered drawings.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, MEP systems, and interior finishes.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, inspections, schedules, and field personnel.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• OSHA-30, First Aid, and CPR certifications preferred.
• Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project, BIM, or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site leader and company representative for assigned projects
• Lead field operations from mobilization through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, client vendors, and landlord/base-building teams
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate layout and execution
• Manage schedules, look-aheads, logistics, and site access requirements
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with CAL-OSHA and company standards
• Maintain daily reports covering manpower, inspections, deliveries, RFIs, delays, and site activity
• Coordinate inspections with City departments and other AHJs
• Lead subcontractor foremen meetings and participate in client meetings
• Maintain quality control and ensure work conforms to approved plans and specifications
• Manage punch list and closeout activities to ensure client satisfaction

Overview

I’m working with a respected commercial general contractor in Los Angeles that is seeking an experienced Commercial Interiors Superintendent to lead complex, fast-paced interior construction projects.

This role is ideal for a standalone Superintendent with 6+ years of commercial construction experience and a strong background in Class A commercial TI environments. The successful candidate will be comfortable representing the company with clients, managing subcontractors and field operations, and delivering high-quality projects in demanding and occupied environments.
