Job summary

rand* construction corporation in Dallas, TX seeks a dynamic Superintendent to lead field staff on commercial interior, retail or building renovation projects. You will supervise carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors, ensure work meets plans and safety standards, and coordinate materials, tools, and schedules with the Project Manager.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma, 2 years of college preferred, and demonstrated experience as a superintendent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; two years of college preferred.
• Must have years of experience as superintendent on commercial interior, retail or building renovation projects.
• Display exemplary performance in all project safety related categories.
• Periodically audit jobsites during site walks to ensure standards are being met.
• Assist teams with complex and specialty quality control issues.
• Assist teams with pre-punch walks to identify quality trends and ensure smooth/timely punch list process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field staff on projects and ensure work follows plans and specs.
• Supervise carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and staff according to project schedule.
• Prepare daily reports, time sheets, and safety reports.
• Direct subcontractors and manage safety and quality on site.
