Westwood Professional Services is seeking a Lead Substation Engineer - P&C to drive high‑voltage substation design efforts and interconnection studies. You will produce one-line and three-line diagrams, schematics, and protection/control specifications while ensuring code compliance and project milestones.

You will guide engineers, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and serve as Engineer of Record for protection deliverables.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 6+ years in substation protection and control engineering.
• Ability to lead engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, NEC, IEEE, and NERC PRC requirements.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary efforts and approvals.

Responsabilidades

• Lead substation Protection and Control scope across concurrent projects.
• Act as Engineer of Record, review and stamp protection design deliverables.
• Guide engineers and designers to ensure standards and study methodologies.
• Coordinate protection with SCADA, telecom, transmission, and distribution.
• Lead client communications, design reviews, and issue resolution.
• Interpret contracts to align deliverables with requirements.
• Identify scope gaps and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Support proposals, estimates, and change orders for P&C scope.
• Monitor project performance including schedule and quality.
• Lead project coordination meetings and milestone tracking.
