Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 6+ years of experience in substation protection and control.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, NEC, IEEE, and NERC PRC requirements.
• Excellent client communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and protection/relay tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Protection & Control scope across multiple projects with technical ownership.
• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) with PE stamping of protection and control deliverables.
• Guide engineers, designers, and analysts across projects to ensure standards are followed.
• Coordinate across disciplines to integrate protection with control systems and field implementation.
• Lead client communications and technical strategy discussions and reviews.
• Interpret contracts to align deliverables with requirements and regulations.
• Identify scope gaps and coordinate resolution among stakeholders.
• Support proposals, estimates, and change orders for protection studies and settings.
• Oversee QA/QC of P&C deliverables to meet company standards.
