Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical equipment testing and inspection, including high voltage applications.
• Broad experience with a wide variety of electrical apparatus used in the power industry.
• Experience working in utility transmission substation is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing and/or commissioning of electrical distribution and transmission substations.
• Perform substation field engineering, including work plan preparation.
• Review and develop isolation and restoration work plans.
• Direct troubleshooting efforts to resolve test deficiencies.
• Provide on-site support to Design Engineering and Substation Construction.

Communication with microprocessor type relays
