For our client, we are seeking a Lead Substation Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will lead the execution of substation design work across both physical and protection & control disciplines, supporting projects from early scoping through final design and implementation. You will collaborate closely with designers and drafters to produce accurate project documentation while helping ensure quality, constructability, and compliance with applicable standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of engineering projects in a collaborative environment. It also requires regular interaction with customers and project stakeholders, including travel to client sites as needed.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $107,900 - $195,050 annually

Responsibilities

• Execute both physical and protection & control (P&C) substation projects
• Perform quality control checks on design projects
• Create and verify substation design drawings
• Generate and check bill of materials for projectsSupport projects from scoping through final design and implementation
• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Safety Code in designs
