Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology or equivalent, or 2–4 years of related education with equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years experience as a Substation Designer in the electrical industry.
• Strong communication and teamwork across disciplines.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior designers/drafters.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design and technical guidance for substations.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor project activities.
• Prepare technical documents, calculations, and sketches.
• Create substation physical design packages for construction.
• Support customer relations and project delivery, including costs and proposals.
