Ulteig is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to support Renewables, Utility, and Power projects. The role focuses on technical leadership in substation design, applying standard engineering techniques, and coordinating detailed project phases. Up to 15% travel may be required.
The candidate will design and modify substation drawings and perform AC/DC studies, with strong emphasis on protection and control design and industry standards. PE license and 10+ years of experience are expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) is required.
- PE License is required.
- 10+ years of engineering experience in substations or related fields.
- Experience with substation protection and control design and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Make design recommendations and modifications for utility substations and relay automation equipment.
- Perform calculations using standard engineering formulas.
- Provide technical guidance to other engineers.
