Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Control Electrician A to support substation projects in the Georgia area. This non-exempt role demands experience with 525 kV and below equipment, PLC logic, and high safety standards.

The candidate will install, test and troubleshoot control systems, leading crews as needed while traveling up to 90% of the time and performing demanding physical work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of substation electrical systems and drawings.
• Ability to interpret conduit plans, cable schedules and schematics.
• Must supply own hand tools and safety boots; CDL preferred or capable of obtaining.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot substation equipment including breakers, transformers and control wiring.
• Lead and coach crew members; ensure safety and quality in field work.
• Maintain vehicles and tools; work in elevated and confined spaces as needed.
