Job summary

Ironwood-Heavy-Highway,-LLC is seeking a Project Manager - Substation Construction to lead substation projects, including new builds, expansions, upgrades, and maintenance. You will promote a culture of safety and quality workmanship while nurturing strong customer relationships.

Salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience. You will oversee a team, delegate tasks, and coordinate with engineers, estimators, and stakeholders to ensure timely, on-spec project

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, estimators, and stakeholders to determine project specs.
• Outline construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
• Request equipment and materials; monitor inventory to address inadequacies promptly.
• Prepare and implement project budgets based on estimates.
• Supervise laborers, equipment operators, and subcontractors, providing guidance as required.
• Conduct risk assessments, report identified risks to management, and offer mitigation recommendations.
• Address project-related questions, concerns, and complaints from stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison among the company, customers, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Maintain adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
