Job summary

Pike Corporation in Pittsburgh is seeking a Civil-Structural Engineer to support transmission substation engineering with design and project-management duties. You will produce drawings, analyze foundations and structures, and collaborate with clients and other design disciplines on complex projects.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) and 2–4 years’ experience in the electrical industry. EIT preferred and PE license pursued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Civil Engineering.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• 2-4 years experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer in the electrical power delivery field.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve engineering and design problems.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and sketches.
