Job summary

Netflix Studios Fort Monmouth is seeking an accomplished Studio Stage Manager to oversee stage and on‑lot production operations, ensuring safe, efficient workflows and reliable support for creative teams.

You will lead a team of Stage Specialists, coordinate access, scheduling, logistics, and develop SOPs; serve as the primary liaison for clients, production staff and vendors, and help manage budgets and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Film, Production Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in film production, demonstrating a robust understanding of industry dynamics.
• Proven track record as a stage manager or in a similar role within studio operations, film, television, or commercial production.
• In‑depth knowledge of film production workflows, set protocols, and technical requirements.
• Experience with the technical aspects of stage production, including lighting, sound, and rigging.
• Ability to make quick decisions and pivot at a moment’s notice.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in fast‑paced environments.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self‑starter with a proven track record of driving projects forward independently.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and adept at troubleshooting operational challenges.
• Comprehensive understanding of stage and production safety protocols.
• Familiarity with union regulations and experience working with unionized crews.

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure compliance with operational requirements and smooth integration.
• Manage budgeting, procurement, and inventory management for stage resources.
