Job summary

MasTec Civil is seeking an experienced Structures Superintendent in the Columbia, SC area to oversee and manage all structural aspects of roadway construction projects. This role requires hands-on field operations leadership, safety compliance, and budget/schedule adherence.

You will coordinate with Project and Area Managers, manage union relations, ensure quality workmanship, and supervise on-site crews and subcontractors on complex transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum GED or High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with experience supporting structural components of roadways, highways or bridges.
• Railroad/CSX experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Attend all required pre job meetings.
• Review project scope with Project Manager and Area Manager.
• Review and understand cost codes prior to starting work.
• Coordinate all subcontractor operations and supervise on-site employees.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and company policies are followed.
• Complete daily paperwork including timesheets, diaries, and logs.
