Job summary

LINX in Columbus, OH seeks a Structured Cabling/Low Voltage Lead Technician to coordinate onsite commercial construction projects and supervise crews, ensuring tasks stay on schedule.

Reporting to the Project Foreman and Project Manager, you will oversee manpower, materials, and cabling installations including switches and wireless devices, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Supervise projects and 5+ technicians.
• Plan site manpower and manage materials and labor.
• Set crew objectives and report updates to management.
• Ensure HR, safety and company policy compliance while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain standards of cabling quality and profitability.
• Oversee account coordination and direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise projects and 5+ technicians.
• Plan site manpower needs and manage material and labor to completion.
• Set crew objectives, track progress and report to management.
• Ensure HR, safety, and company policies compliance while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain technical, quality, and profitability standards; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate accounts, including direct customer interaction and issue resolution.
• Prepare and communicate status reports to keep customers and PMs informed.
• Lead projects, delegate tasks, and supervise teams of 5+ technicians.
• Read blueprints and manage all aspects of project planning.
• Communicate effectively and manage timesheets.
