Job summary

IES Communications, LLC is seeking a Communications Technician II in Chandler, AZ. The role involves leading a crew of installers, coordinating daily workloads, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities include installing outlets, mounting hardware, testing circuits, identifying active cables, and maintaining accurate paperwork. A High School diploma and 2 years in telecom or related field are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years in telecommunications or related technical field with supervisory ability.
• Proficient with listed tools and able to read project documents and blueprints.
• Able to interpret universal color codes and meet driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Install work area outlets for floors, modular furniture and walls with correct jacks and face plates.
• Build closets, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware; install grounding as required.
• Perform testing including continuity tests and troubleshooting cable faults.
• Identify active voice/data circuits and coordinate crew performance and timelines.
• Complete paperwork accurately (timesheets, work orders, etc.).
• Adhere to company, customer and industry safety standards.
