Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Project Engineer in Chicago, IL to help lead the coordination, planning, and execution of engineering projects. The role involves communicating with clients, planning engineering programs, and organizing project teams based on requirements.

You will perform structural analysis and design for diverse building types using SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, Revit and related tools while ensuring compliance with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Three years of experience in structural analysis and design.
• PE license required; data centers experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination, planning and execution of engineering projects within area of responsibility.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and align work with goals.
• Direct preparation of contract documents and oversee construction administration.
