Job summary

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America, translating equipment needs into permitted foundation designs and coordinating with OEMs and external partners to ensure load, anchorage, and vibration requirements are met.

You will lead structural schematic design through to construction, partnering with engineering to deliver on schedule and budget while navigating ambiguity and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of structural or building-systems design experience.
• Experience designing concrete foundations and equipment foundations for manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge of structural codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360).
• Proficiency with Procore or a similar construction management platform.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Intake structural requirements and lead equipment foundation scope from concept to construction drawings for permitting and on-site execution.
• Design equipment foundations, slabs, and pedestals; coordinate with OEMs on loads, anchoring, vibration, and tolerances.
• Manage critical path items in structural design, procurement, and construction, applying first-principles thinking to protect milestones.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, construction, facilities, geotechnical, and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure compatibility with architectural, mechanical, and electrical designs.
