Job summary

LA28 is seeking a Manager, Civil Engineering to establish the civil foundation for its Olympic venues, translating requirements into cost-effective, constructible solutions from concept through construction. You will lead a multi-venue portfolio and collaborate with architects and other disciplines to deliver safe, world-class infrastructure for Games time.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Civil Engineering, you will guide teams, manage scope and budget, and ensure alignment with stakeholder

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil engineering infrastructure design and construction experience.
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and practices for siteworks: site prep, earthwork, drainage, vehicular circulation, utilities, fire and life safety.
• Experience supporting complex permit applications with authorities having jurisdictions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and collaboration tools.
• Experience leading diverse teams delivering complex infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of project management concepts (scope, schedule, budget) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil aspects of venue design books and advance designs to meet schedule milestones.
• Coordinate stakeholder requirements into cost-effective, streamlined civil solutions across venues.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering disciplines and oversee external resources for integrated civil design.
• Partner with Accessibility, Energy, Technology and other functions to integrate civil works requirements.
• Partner with Cost and Procurement to elevate delivery and procurement risks and identify savings opportunities.
