Building Restoration Services is seeking a Structural Engineer – In-House Building-Envelope & Restoration Lead to manage evaluations, stamping, and repair designs for commercial restorations in the I-495 belt. This hybrid role combines office analysis with field engagement, giving you direct authority to sign and stamp details while guiding safety and constructability.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts PE license in good standing.
• Willingness to sign and stamp calculations and drawings.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience with structural analysis software.
• Valid driver's license and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, design, and stamping for restoration projects.
• Prepare, sign, and stamp structural calculations and reports.
• Design temporary shoring and bracing.
• Collaborate with project managers and field crews.
• Review vendor shop drawings and material specs.
• Assist estimators with scope and quantities.
