Taylor Technical Services is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer in Houston, TX to design steel/concrete structures, pipelines and related facilities from concept to start-up. You will lead a multi-discipline team, develop calculations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a BS in structural/civil engineering, a P.E. designation, and 10+ years in oil & gas design. Proficiency with SACS, STAAD and MathCAD is essential; US travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
• P.E. designation is strongly preferred.
• Ten years of experience in designing oil and gas facilities.
• Experience with onshore foundations.
• Knowledge of structural design codes (AISC/ACI/ASCE).
• Proficiency with SACS and STAAD software.
• Strong MathCAD, Excel and Word skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead conceptual, preliminary and detailed structural analysis and design.
• Coordinate with designers, drafters and project teams.
• Develop calculations and documentation using Mathcad, Word and Excel.
• Prepare regulatory submittals and interface with clients.
• Manage structural engineering budget and schedule.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work.
