Job summary

GAS GLOBAL SERVICES is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer in Houston to lead civil/structural design and guide a team of designers and engineers on petrochemical and industrial projects. You will collaborate with project managers, other disciplines, and clients to deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions.

The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, a TX PE license, and proficiency in STAADPro, AutoCAD/Civil3D, and RAM Connection.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in civil/structural design for petrochemical, refining or industrial projects.
Experience with grading, drainage, containment, soils, and pavement design.
Proficient in STAADPro; familiar with AutoCAD, Civil3D, Navisworks and RAM Connection.
Licensed PE in TX (NCEES); strong leadership and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee the design of civil/structural projects and ensure quality.
Perform design calculations and review other engineers' work for accuracy.
Ensure compliance with codes, standards and client requirements.
Coordinate with other disciplines and project managers on timelines and budgets.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers.
Perform site visits to verify design implementations.
Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and provide design solutions.
Balance multiple projects with time management to meet deadlines.
