Sargent & Lundy is seeking a lead design engineer in Cranberry Township to guide a structural engineering team on projects for new nuclear facilities and upgrades. The role blends client interaction, interdisciplinary collaboration, and hands-on design oversight.

You will mentor engineers, review calculations, and ensure compliance with ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI while leveraging advanced software tools. Hybrid work includes three days in the office and two remote days.

Competenze

• BSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Twenty or more years of experience in design and analysis of industrial/heavy commercial or nuclear facility structures.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS.
• Proficiency with design codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• PE or SE license.

Mansioni

• Lead a team of structural engineers and interface with clients and other disciplines.
• Guide design calculations, develop specifications, and support drawing development.
• Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, concrete members, and foundations.
• Travel to client/vendor offices or plant sites for reviews and on-site coordination.
