Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing industrial structures, leading projects, and mentoring engineers while delivering high-quality, safe solutions for clients.

Preferably based in Green Bay, WI or Cincinnati, OH, with options for remote work within the United States and travel as required for projects, fieldwork, and coordination. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and use Risa, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Active PE license and ability to serve as Engineer of Record.
• 10+ years progressive structural engineering experience.
• Experience designing industrial buildings and facility infrastructure.
• Willingness to obtain additional licensure as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and coordinate with clients from concept through closeout.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specs, and packages for industrial facilities.
• Evaluate existing structures for expansions, modifications, and renovations.
• Design structural solutions for platforms, catwalks, cranes, foundations, and supports.
• Develop project scope, labor estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Mentor engineers and designers; ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Perform QA/QC reviews and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Utilize 3D laser scanning, clash detection, and coordination tools.
