Job summary

Foth is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to join our team in Green Bay, WI or Cincinnati, OH, with optional remote work for US-based candidates willing to travel. The role focuses on delivering robust structural engineering solutions for industrial facilities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

You will lead projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate across disciplines to meet client objectives while ensuring quality, schedules, and budgets are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive structural engineering experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; Engineer of Record eligibility.
• Experience designing industrial buildings and facility infrastructure in manufacturing settings.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate with clients from concept to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing facility personnel to support plant operations and capital projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, construction documents, specifications, and packages for industrial facilities.
• Evaluate structural integrity for expansions, equipment installations, and renovations.
• Design and detail structural solutions for platforms, catwalks, mezzanines, cranes, foundations, and other industrial systems.
• Develop project scope, labor estimates, budgets, and schedules for clients.
