Job summary

The role requires 10+ years of structural analysis experience, strong FEA using ANSYS, and proficiency in MATLAB or Python for data analysis. You will document findings and collaborate with design, systems, and project teams to deliver on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in structural analysis; ASME Code Sec III preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with FEA (static and transient) using ANSYS.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for programming or data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to document analyses clearly in reports and presentations.
• Excellent organizational and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural and dynamic analysis projects for reactor components to demonstrate ASME BPVC Section III compliance.
• Evaluate primary & secondary stresses and fatigue in reactor internals under mechanical and thermal loadings.
• Execute analyses using sound engineering principles and established procedures.
• Prepare technical reports, calculation packages, and documentation supporting regulatory/design requirements.
• Collaborate with design, system, and project teams and external partners to meet time and budget goals.
