Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) seeks a Structural Building Engineer – Project Manager to lead building structure projects and guide a team of engineers. The role supports CDI’s Building Stronger Communities mission and involves managing scope, budget, and client coordination.

You will be Engineer of Record, perform analyses, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality designs on schedule and within budget. Flexible scheduling and ESOP culture accompany competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferred).
• Licensed PE with IL licensure.
• 8+ years of building design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural projects from scope to budget, coordinating design with staff.
• Serve as Engineer of Record, sign/seal calculations and documents.
• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and officials to deliver projects on schedule.
