Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced structural analyst to own full-vehicle analysis from concept through qualification. You will develop and maintain FEM models at multiple levels, operate Hyper-X, and ensure traceability of model outputs into substantiation and certification artifacts.

You will collaborate with design, systems, loads & dynamics, and test teams to drive risk retirement and provide actionable engineering recommendations in an agile development environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in structural/stress analysis for flight hardware.
• Ability to lead analysis for complex systems through design and qualification.
• Experience with spaceflight structural environments and verification approaches.

Responsibilities

• Own full-vehicle structural analysis from concept through qualification, including margins.
• Develop and maintain FEM models at component, subsystem and vehicle levels.
• Operate Hyper-X and integrate results into substantiation and reporting.
• Create stress reports, substantiation packages, and certification artifacts.
• Support design trades and retrofit options with engineering rationale.
