Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL, is seeking a Senior Structural Analyst to own full-vehicle structural analysis from concept through qualification. You will develop and maintain FEMs, document substantiation, and drive margins for flight hardware.

You will collaborate with design, systems, and test teams to perform loads, vibration, and static analyses, producing clear technical documentation for design reviews. Mentoring junior analysts and advancing standards are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field (M.S. preferred).
• 7+ years of professional experience performing structural/stress analysis for spacecraft, launch vehicles, satellites, or related hardware.
• Proven ability to lead/own analysis for a complex system through design phases into qualification.
• Strong proficiency with FEM development and structural analysis methods; Hyper-X experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Own full-vehicle structural analysis from concept through qualification, including modeling and margin closure.
• Develop, maintain, and implement FEMs at component, subsystem, and vehicle levels; ensure traceability.
• Operate Hyper-X for analysis workflows and deliverables; integrate outputs into substantiation and reporting.
• Create and review stress reports, substantiation packages, and certification artifacts.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team standards and best practices.
