Job Summary
This role supports the College by utilizing technical dataexpertise to aid with strategic planning and retention activitieswithin the Student Success division.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements
- Supports the data and research needs of the Office of the ViceChancellor and Provost by collaborating with Institutional Researchto provide timely, relevant, accurate, and insightful studentsuccess data
- Utilizes technical expertise to collect quantitative data fromvarious systems and platforms for analysis, interpretation, and toaid in the implementation of student success initiatives
- Works with large complex data sets, including exporting,importing from various sources, and inferring data relationships tosupport strategic decision making
- Manages several projects simultaneously, while organizing andprioritizing work based on shifting and complex requests anddeadlines
- Collaborates with stakeholders to develop planning andimplementation of college academic initiatives
- Prepares reports and recommendations, summarizing data andanalyses that present results in a clear and concise mannerincluding implementation strategies
- Executes other duties as assigned to support the effectivefunctioning of the Student Success Division
- Maintains confidentiality of various sensitive information types,relating to students, employees, finances, future Collegeinitiatives, etc.
Service Excellence
- Participates on behalf of the College in external communityorganizations and associations as assigned to support the essentialperformance requirements
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite
- Completes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege
Supervision
- Works under the supervision of the Vice Chancellor of StudentSuccess

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Five (5) years’ working experience related to the EssentialPerformance Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Higher Education or a related field
- At least (1) year of working experience using data forbroad-based planning and decision making
- At least (1) year of working experience in an academic or studentservice capacity
- At least (1) year of working experience in a collegesetting
- At least (1) year of working experience with executive-levelassignments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and buildingeffective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening,verbal, and written communication skills
- Skilled in using computer applications and enterprise systems,including the Microsoft Office suite and the Microsoft 365platform
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlesslyensuring accurate and timely completion, while exhibiting strongattention to detail and organization
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of ateam in collaborative environments, engaging with faculty, staff,and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify routine issues and elevate non-standardproblems using established procedures in a fast-paced workenvironment
- Ability to review basic information and follow policies,procedures, and guidelines when completing assigned tasks
- Ability to coordinate assigned work and communicate effectivelywith faculty and staff to support campus and departmentaloperations
- Ability to maintain a high level of diplomacy and tact, ensuringconfidentiality and discretion with sensitive and confidentialinformation
- Knowledge of higher education data analysis and research
- Knowledge of technical data coding structures and conventions,and methodologies for quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Skilled in using statistical software and enterprise systems,including the Microsoft Office suite; retrieving and manipulatingdata from a statistical information system (SIS)
- Skilled in collecting and analyzing data for use in providingsound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, andexisting regulations while exhibiting strong attention to detail,organization, and accuracy
