Job summary

NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks two Construction Project Managers 2 for the Stormwater Permitting unit at its Queens, NY headquarters. You will review site drawings, inspect during/after construction, and prepare reports to ensure compliance with MS4 and CSO requirements.

Qualifications

• A four-year high school diploma or equivalent and five years of full-time experience managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Review site civil drawings for compliance with City rules and the Construction General Permit.
• Inspect sites during and after construction for compliance with stormwater permits.
• Prepare associated reports and correspondence and maintain records.
• Communicate program and permit requirements, penalties for noncompliance and benefits of compliance.
