Job summary

Naples Grande Beach Resort, part of Benchmark Hospitality, seeks a Steward Supervisor to lead the kitchen cleanliness team and uphold high cleanliness standards. You will supervise Stewards, foster a positive work culture, and ensure sanitation logs and safety protocols are followed to support a premier dining experience.

You will drive green initiatives, recycle materials, and monitor facilities for safety while collaborating with culinary teams to maintain efficient back-of-house operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Steward in a hospitality setting.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Engaging and pleasant personality; strong guest interaction skills.
• Ability to manage time wisely and complete tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Stewards on daily back-of-house cleaning tasks.
• Foster a positive, upbeat work environment among staff.
• Maintain a daily sanitation log for dish machines and pot wash areas.
• Ensure work areas are ready and notify supervisors of any issues.
• Champion Green initiatives like cardboard recycling and energy conservation.
• Support safety by monitoring high-traffic areas to prevent accidents.
