Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Tejon seeks a dedicated Steward to support daily Food & Beverage operations on site, ensuring inventory accuracy and equipment readiness. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year in the Stewards’ Department, strong communication, meticulous organization, and a commitment to confidentiality while adapting to varying shifts and contributing to a fast-paced team

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year progressive experience in the Stewards’ Department.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Meticulous, organized, and accurate.
• Extreme confidentiality.
• Familiarity with a variety of computer systems and hospitality applications.
• Be flexible to work varying shifts.
• Able to work effectively in a team and analyze impact on operations.

Responsibilities

• Follows department objectives and guidelines to ensure proper operation.
• Assists in ordering and receiving non-food items within the Food & Beverage Department, ensuring adequate par levels of inventory.
• Inspects equipment and ensures all equipment is in working order and up to Hard Rock safety and cleanliness standards; authorizes replacement parts for equipment in the food departments.
• Maintains open lines of communications with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage.
• Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
• Perform work regularly and predictably.
• Other duties as assigned
